1. What AfterFees does
AfterFees is a Chrome extension and companion dashboard that helps users on HiBid and HiBid-network auction sites calculate landed cost and track saved lots, auction houses, purchases, and resales.
2. Information we collect
Account information
- Your email address and encrypted password credentials when you use email sign-in.
- Basic profile information, such as name and email address, when you choose Google sign-in.
Auction and resale information
- Lot details you view or save, including title, current bid, auction house, category, and source URL.
- Auction house contact and fee information, including buyer’s premium, tax, and card-fee rates.
- Watchlist entries, bids, won-auction records, photos, and resale details you choose to save.
Extension and technical information
The extension reads relevant content from the HiBid page you have open to identify the lot and auction house. This is used to populate the extension and save information you request. AfterFees does not collect your general browsing history, unrelated website activity, device location, or private messages.
3. How we use information
- Calculate landed costs and potential profit.
- Sync your watchlist and records between the extension and dashboard.
- Apply previously saved auction-house fee information.
- Authenticate accounts, secure the service, troubleshoot issues, and improve reliability.
- Send important account or service messages where necessary.
AfterFees does not sell personal information or use it for targeted advertising.
4. Storage and service providers
Account and auction data is stored through Lovable Cloud, which uses Supabase infrastructure for database hosting, authentication, and storage. Google processes information when you choose Google sign-in. These providers process data to deliver their respective services.
5. Security
AfterFees uses encrypted password handling and account-level access controls designed to keep each user’s private records scoped to their account. No electronic system is completely secure, so absolute security cannot be guaranteed.
6. Your choices and rights
You may edit or delete supported records from the dashboard. You may revoke Google access through your Google account settings. Depending on your location, you may also have rights to access, correct, export, or delete personal data.
7. Data retention
Account and auction data is retained while your account is active or as needed to provide AfterFees. Following a valid deletion request, personal data will be deleted or anonymized within a reasonable period unless retention is required for security, legal, or accounting purposes.
8. Children’s privacy
AfterFees is not directed to children or anyone below the age required to participate in online auctions in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as AfterFees changes. Material updates will be reflected by a new effective date and, where appropriate, an in-product notice.
